Veteran actor Paravoor Bharathan is no more

Paravoor Bharathan, who carved a niche for himself with his individualistic portrayal of characters in Malayalam cinema, breathed his last on August 19 at Kochi due to prolonged illness.
Theatre set the stage for his acting in the initial years, but it was films which took him to higher realms of the craft. He had played villainous roles in the initial phase of his career, post which he started portraying more character based roles.Some of the remarkable films that he did were In Harihara Nagar, Aniathipravu, Meleparambil Aanveedu, Mazhavil Kavadi, among many others.
