In a recent Instagram post, Vincy shared the personal experience that led to her statement at an anti-drug campaign, where she expressed that she would not work with known drug users again. After receiving online backlash and criticism, Vincy took the opportunity to clarify her remarks and explain the situation that prompted her decision.
Vincy opens up about traumatic on-set experience
In a video message, Vincy revealed the traumatic experience she had on set, which led her to make the decision to avoid working with drug users in the future. She explained that her comments about refusing to collaborate with people who use drugs were rooted in this personal ordeal. “A few days ago, I made a statement at an anti-drug campaign that I wouldn’t work with people who use drugs again. After reading the comments that followed, I realized I needed to clarify why I made such a statement,” Vincy said.
Lead actor’s inappropriate behaviour
Describing the incident, Vincy mentioned a moment during the shoot when the lead actor allegedly acted inappropriately while under the influence of drugs. She recalled facing an issue with her dress and when she went to adjust it, the actor offered to assist her in a public setting, making it uncomfortable for her to continue with the shoot. "It was difficult to proceed with the filming schedule after that incident," Vincy shared.
Actor was using drugs on set
Vincy further claimed that the actor was visibly using drugs on set, specifically mentioning an incident where he was seen spitting white powder while practising a scene. “It was clear that he was using drugs, and it made the environment difficult to work in,” she said. Vincy emphasized that her stance was not about judging personal choices, but rather about maintaining a safe and respectful working environment for all involved.
