‘Voice Of Sathyanathan’ Twitter review: Dileep starrer gets a decent response

‘Voice Of Sathyanathan’ directed by Raffi has hit the big screens today (July 28). Featuring Dileep in the lead role, the film marks the actor’s first theatrical release after three years. Touted to be a family entertainer laced with comedy, the film has received an impressive response on its first day. The team had held an extravagant pre-launch event on Thursday in Kochi, and the initial reports are quite promising.
Movie buffs and fans of Dileep have flocked to the theatres, and the Twitterati suggests that the film is a hit.
A Twitter forum noted that the film is a decent family drama, and Dileep seem to have done his job as an actor. “A decent to good family drama with Dileep in top form. 1st half mostly relied on humour which saw turn in Sathyanathan 's life somewhat before interval mark. 2nd half has all the ingredients of an entertainer & got worked out to a good extent.Cast performances are good. Technically decent. Music OK. Dileep seems to have a winner on his hands (sic),” the tweet reads.

Another Twitter user wrote that the humour and the versatility of the characters were the winners of the film, “A decent film with some good humour and interesting characters. The emotional track of Joju in the second half works. Direction could have been better though. A neat one time watch. Dileep good. Joju superb. Dileep-Siddhique pair works well. Veena Flaws are there in writing but overall a decent watch (sic).”

Another netizen wrote that the comedy has hit well, and Joju George has came as a saviour for the film. “1st half has just about enough humour to make the audience interested. #Dileep plays Sathyanathan who always ends up in trouble because of his 'tongue'. No lag/boring moments till now, except the song. 2nd half has less humour & is average. The climax gives us a feeling that the writer ran out of ideas on how to properly end the movie. #JojuGeorge was the saviour in the 2nd half where the comedy went dry.” The tweet further claimed that ‘Voice Of Sathyanathan’ is a perfect comeback film for the comedian in Dileep, “#VoiceOfSathyanathan is a comeback for the 'comedian' in #dileep, but the same can't be said about the movie. Overall it's a mixed bag & not a must watch in theaters for those who go to theaters occasionally. Others can give it a try.”

A movie buff stated that the film’s story lacks logic. “A passable film with good comedies that really work, a role that perfectly suits #Dilieep, #Veena’s character as wife has a freshness #JojuGeorge is great specially the emotional scenes in the second half. Although a subpar making, logicless story aspects & weak direction brings it down. NB: If you're a stickler for technical aspects and logical coherence, then it may not be enjoyable,” the netizen wrote.

Meanwhile, ‘Voice Of Sathyanathan’ has Veena Nandakumar as the leading lady. Actors Joju George, Sidhique, Anupam Kher, Johny Antony, Makarand Deshpande, Jagapathi Babu, and Ramesh Pisharody are seen in some pivotal roles in the film.
