The queen is back! Malayalam cinema’s most loved actress Meera Jasmine is all set to make her second innings. The supremely talented actress has signed a movie with her all-time favourite filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad. The movie went on floors on Friday (October 15) and the video from the sets of the movie is taking the internet by storm!
Meera Jasmine is making her comeback in a full-length role after half a decade.The National award-winning actress will be playing the lead role along with Jayaram in the film. The shoot of the film is progressing at a warp speed.

In the video, Meera Jasmine is seen decked up in ethnic and loungewear and looks as fresh as a daisy. Filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad turned emotional as he met his all-time favourite actor again.
“Meera Jasmine came back in front of the camera on Vijayadashami. The joy on the set is indescribable. So many memories. Kanmani who transformed as a boy for ‘Chemistry’, Achu, who conquered the heart of her mother with unparalleled love, the smart girl who left Dileep speechless in ‘Vinodayathra’, by asking him what the price of a kilogram of rice was. Meera is Juliet here. Jayaram, Devika, Innocent, Siddique, KPAC Lalitha, and Sreenivasan are part of the cast. We are preparing to introduce them to the audience in theatres,” Sathyan Anthikad penned, sharing the video here.

Meera Jasmine and Sathyan Anthikad have worked together in four movies in the past - ‘Achuvinte Amma’, ‘Rasathanthram’, ‘Vinodayathra’, and ‘Innathe Chintha Vishayam’ and the upcoming film will mark their fifth collaboration. Meera Jasmine has lately confirmed that she will be actively working in movies from here on. The diva also shared that she will be selective about the films she signs, but would be active in the showbiz.
