During the lockdown period, Malayalis are mostly depending on the digital platforms to watch films and kill the time. Director of the first superhit of 2020, Anjaam Pathiraa, Midhun Manuel Thomas has wrote on his social media page that the movie will not have a DVD release anytime soon. The director posted it as a response to the enquiries he has been receiving with regards to the films availability.He also added that the team is trying get the film released online.

Anjaam Pathiraa is a thriller that features Kunchacko Boban in the lead. The actor plays a criminologist Anwar Hussain. Apart from Kunchacko Boban, the film also features Jinu Joseph, Remya Nambeeshan, Harikrishnan and Jaffer Idukki.
