Wedding bells for Archana Kavi!

The Neelathamara girl is all set to get hitched, and the one marrying her would definitely ensure she stays smiling.
Actress Archana Kavi and her childhood buddy, renowned comedian Abish Mathew, have decided to give their friendship a new meaning and will tie the knot next year. Archana, who just completed her upcoming movie Sughamayirikkatte, says it’s neither an arranged nor a love marriage.“Our families have been friends for years and I know Abish from fourth grade onwards. He is my best friend too, who has also been a huge support from the beginning of my career. The alliance was, however, initiated by our families after a priest close to us suggested it. We both freaked out at first, but in about eight to nine months, we came to terms with the fact that we like each other and can get married. However, we still don’t feel like there is a marriage happening soon,” she says.
Is her stand-up comedian husband-to-be a fun person in real life too? “Oh yes! He has always been a living cartoon network (laughs). It’s not just his on-stage persona. Abish is quite a creative person too.” The couple have not decided on a wedding date or other details yet.
