When Rima had a near death accident

Rima Kallingal had a near death experience in Uganda, while shooting for Rajesh Nair’s Escape from Uganda. In the particular scene, the actress, along with actor Vijay Babu, wait at the roadside when a luxury car, driven by actor Jojo speeds down and pulls up beside them. “The car belongs to the sports series and the speed can go up to 100 Km/hr in a matter of seconds.Jojo didn’t expect the car to accelerate so fast.
In addition, it was a slippery surface; he lost control and raced towards them,” recalls director Rajesh. “The car would have smashed Rima and Vijay up head-on, if not for a steel piece between them and the car, which took the blow. The steel was a part of the set and it literally saved their lives.” All three actors were uninjured, but the car was completely ruined. “Unfortunately, the car belonged to me,” rues Rajesh.
