Why didn't Kalidas take up 'Virus?'

Actor Sreenath Bhasi is winning praises from many quarters for his performance in the recently-released multi-starrer 'Virus.'

Interestingly, Kalidas Jayaram was the initial choice to play Sreenath's character, Dr Abid. He couldn't take it up, reportedly, as he was busy with 'Argentina Fans Kattoorkadavu' and '

Mr and Ms Rowdy

,' but the movies didn't excite the box office much. Now, many fans opine online that Kalidas should have taken up 'Virus,' which has been winning critical acclaim right from the day of its release.

His next films are with Alphonse Puthran and Santhosh Sivan.
