Manju immediately took a break from films and became a homemaker. They have a daughter named Meenakshi. After 16 years of marriage, they filed a joined petition for divorce. According to reports, there were rumours of Dileep cheating on Manju. Their daughter decided to stay with Dileep. Manju Warrier made a comeback with the Rosshan Andrews directed film How Old Are You? that released in the year 2014.

The very talented actor-singer Mamta Mohandas married a Bahrain-based businessman Prajith Padmananbhan in November 2011. According to reports, things turned sour between the two within a year of their marriage and they started living separately. Incidentally, she got married on November 11, 2011 (11.11.11) and filed on December 12, 2012 (12.12.12). Mamta was quoted as saying in a TOI report, "I'm happy that we realised that we are two different people, who can't journey together for long. So we took the decision before a discontented family life took us far." Rumour has it that her husband Prajith was not too keen and happy with Mamta continuing her acting career after marriage. The two-time cancer survivor actor eventually moved on in her life and is fully concentrating on her acting career.

Ugly ego clash between Priyadarshan and Lissy led to a bad divorce between them. According to a TOI report, Lissy gave an open statement saying, "It is with profound sadness that I am announcing that I and Priyadarshan have decided to get separated after 24 years of marriage. Both our children and close friends are aware of this decision." Lissy was a regular part of Priyadarshan's movies in in the 80s. Many of their friends tried to act as peacemakers but their efforts turned futile. While some reports suggest that Lissy demanded Rs 80 crore as remuneration for taking care of Priyandarshan's businesses, she denied the allegation. "Our differences revolved mainly around my company, Four Frames Sound Company. Matters snowballed and our egos came in the way. The situation got out of hand. But let me clarify that I did not ask for Rs 80 crore," the former actress had asserted. The couple was married in the year 1990 and Lissy converted into Hinduism eventually after marriage.

Though they had a love marriage, incompatibility issues started eventually. Rumour has it that as the couple was not blessed with any child, it deepened their grief and added to their issues.
