Kailash Kher sings for the Malayalam film ‘Kabeerinte Divasangal’

When Bollywood singer Kailash Kher sung the song ‘Khuda Se Mannath’ for the Mohanlal-starrer film ‘Keerthi Chakra’ in the year 2006, it had quickly become popular for his unmatched rendition and the song’s soulful melody.
The vocalist has sung yet again for a Malayalam movie now. He has sung a qawwali song for the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Kabeerinte Divasangal.’ The team recently released its lyrical video and the song has already been impressing Malayalam music buffs.‘Kabeerinte Divasangal,’ which is directed by Sarath Chandran, has Harinarayanan B K as the lyricist and M Jayachandran as the music director. Anitha Shaiq has composed the qawwali part of its music and it has Shakeel Azmi’s lyrics. The song, which goes ‘Khwaja Ji…’ has Mohan Sahil, Simran, Chetan Dev and Rahul giving backing vocals. It also has dholak by Tinka Bali and Pankaj Bali.
‘Kabeerinte Divasangal,’ which has actor Murali Chand playing the male lead and ‘Irupathiyonnam Noottandu’ fame actress Rachel David as the female protagonist, is also the comeback project of actor Jagathi Sreekumar. Earlier, the team had revealed that Jagathi’s character is put together keeping in mind the limitations imposed on him by his health condition. Around December last year, the crew had also released a few pics of Jagathy from the set.
P K Sreekumar writes the screenplay and dialogues of the movie. The movie is touted to have a subject with a flavour of spirituality. Yesteryear actor Ratheesh’s son Padmaraj Ratheesh, Bharat, Adhiya, Sudheer Karamana, Biju Kuttan, and Tara Kalyan are part of the remaining cast.
