The past year has been about exploring his talents for
Neeraj Madhav. During the lockdown, the talented actor brought out several independent singles that touched upon topics that are close to his heart and also firmly established him as a musician.
Neeraj recently also recorded for his first film project. He sang a fun track for Alphone Puthren’s Paattu, which has Fahadh Faasil and Nayanthara in the lead.
With Neeraj also now busy with film projects, how much time is he willing to dedicate for music? “I see music as a separate space, where I have complete freedom on what I do. But now that I have begun singing for films with Paattu, let’s see where it goes,” the actor says, “It’s something that I want to continue amid my acting commitments. Earlier, there was a prejudice or an old-school thought where you can only focus on one area or everything suffers. But that concept has changed and every artiste is showcasing and exploring their different talents these days. So, I don’t think it will hinder my acting in any way.”
In the acting front, Neeraj is part of projects such as KA, Ennile Villain and Paathira Kurbana. As for his indie music career, he is also set for several collaborations with leading artistes that will be released in the upcoming months.
