2020 is a busy year for me. I have three films lined up for release: Bhushan Pradhan

Be it taking care of his home garden or following a strict workout regime, Bhushan Pradhan has always given his 100 per cent to everything he has done. Though the actor has been away from the spotlight for a while, 2020 is going to be a busy year for him with as many as three films already lined up for release. One of these will also mark Bhushan’s debut in the Hindi industry.Called , the film features Bhushan opposite Raima Sen.
Speaking about his Hindi debut, Bhushan says that it came as a surprise for him. “I was shooting for another film when the makers of Anya called and asked me to meet them in Mumbai because they wanted me on board. I told them it wasn’t possible immediately because I was already shooting in Bhor. To my surprise, the makers came to Bhor to meet me the next day! They gave a narration and after reading the script, I came on board,” shares Bhushan who feels that the Hindi industry is aware of the talent from the Marathi industry.
Though Bhushan was looking for a Hindi film, things weren’t falling in place. However, he’s happy to be getting in the industry with this film because he feels it’s a very sensible film that will connect with viewers. Bhushan, who is now friends with Raima and her sister Riya, confesses that he was initially confused between the two. “When I started shooting for Anya, I was confused between the two. They look so similar that I am sure they must’ve filled in for each other in some projects too,” laughs Bhushan.
Interestingly, Raima has also shot a film with Bhushan’s close friend, actor Vaibhav Tatwawaadi recently. “Vaibhav and I are good friends. With Raima now, there’s a lot of mutual friendship happening. All of us hang out together at times,” he says.
Besides the Hindi film, Bhushan is also looking forward to the release of two Marathi films. He shares, “One of them, , is an out-and-out entertainer with me, Mayuri Deshmukh and Siddharth Jadhav in it. I have also shot for a film opposite Gauri Nalawade that will release soon. Prarthana Behere and I are working on a film, which too might release in 2020.”
So, it’s a busy year ahead? “Absolutely! And I am very excited about it,” Bhushan signs off.
