Amid the lockdown silence, actress Kranti Redkar misses the chaotic Mumbai
While the silent streets and movement has paused due to lockdown in Coronavirus pandemic, Marathi actress Kranti Redkar seems to be missing the real Mumbai - i.e. the chaos of the city.
Though the city of Mumbai is crowded and full of traffic, now with the lockdown, the Kuni Ghar Deta Ka Ghar actress is missing the joy of stepping out. Taking to her Instagram handle, she posted an old picture of her standing on Mumbai roads.

Along with the picture, she captioned the post, “There was a time when I was posting photos with beautiful scenery in the background... now this pollution filled road.... half done metro bridge... rickshaws and cars in the background are scenic enough. The joy of stepping out... I want... I want the horns, the pollution, the crowd, I want the muck on my shoes as soon as I step on the footpath.. I miss the traffic ..those long signals .. where an auto guy would just cut in and gave you a mild heart attack .. with no fault in your driving you would get abused at…changing radio stations in the car .. clicking the photo of the radio when your favourite song came on and immediately posting it on insta . I miss the sound of my google maps guy who couldn’t pronounce WALAWALKAR MARG correctly .. I miss you my city .. #mumbai. See you soon.”
