Amol Kagne to make his debut as a lead in 'Babo'

After bagging some award-winning projects like ‘Halaal‘, and ‘Lathe Joshi', Marathi cinema's assistant director-turned-producer, Amol Kagne is now up for his full-fledged onscreen debut film 'Babo' directed by Ramesh Chaudhary.
Speaking about his role in the film, Amol said, I have done several theatres, but this is my first film where I am acting. The content of the film is amazing and is based on the story of a village where I am portraying the role of a boy who is very simple.Filmmaker, Ramesh has done a brilliant job in the direction. 'Babo' is one of the best films and I am fortunate to act in this film,” he said.
Amol who is quite active in social media, today took to his Instagram handle to share his character poster of the film which is very intriguing. Ramesh Chaudhary's directorial 'Babo' is produced under the banner of Malhar Films Creations and also produced by Sachin Baburao Pawar and Trupti Sachin Pawar. It features star cast like Sayaji Shinde, Kishor Kadam, Bharat Ganeshpure, Kishor Chaugule, Mungekar Pratiksha, Nisha Parulekar, Vijay Nikam, Jayawant Wadkar, Ramesh Chaudhary, and many more. The film is slated to release on 31 May, 2019.
