'Ananya' is an emotional film filled with emotions, the audience will be overwhelmed to watch it in the theatre,' says director Pratap Phad

After impressing the audience with popular play, 'Ananya', Bollywood actor Pratap Phad is set to make his directorial debut in Marathi cinema with 'Ananya'
Recently released the first look poster featuring Hruta Durgule has already created a buzz in social media. In an exclusive chat Etimes, Pratap Phad said "I was overwhelmed with the response coming in from the play 'Ananya'.I got a call from Ravi Jadhav film who had watched my play 'Ananya' and he was planning to do a film on the same play. So, we mutually decided that 'Ananya' will be produced under the banner of Ravi Jadhav Films and I will direct the film"
While speaking on the subject of the film, Pratap said "'Ananya' is an emotional film filled with emotions, the audience will be overwhelmed to watch it in the theatre. We had scheduled to release this June 31, but due to outbreak of Coronavirus, the release date has been put on hold. We have resumed our post-production work and also following the guidelines shared by the Maharashtra government"
Commenting on releasing 'Ananya' on a digital platform, Pratap said "We are not going to this film in OTT platform. We are planning to release this film in Diwali. If lockdown continues than will release it next year"
