Due to his passion for acting, while working as a doctor, he moved to the acting area.
Amidst the outbreak of the virus and considering the difficult situation, actor Ashish is on duty for 24X7 in a private hospital to serve COVID-19 and other emergencies.
In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Actor-doctor, Ashish Gokhale said " My parents are a doctor and I have a sister who is treating COVID-19 patients in Pune. So, yes, I come from a background with this profession. I had a passion for acting since childhood after completing medical education, I had come to Mumbai to make my career in acting and fortunately, I got a chance to act in Marathi and Bollywood as well"
While speaking on the outbreak of Coronavirus, Ashish said "We are going through a tough situation and I am confident that we will overcome this crisis soon. I want to request people that don't be panic and if you are infected with this virus then take the treatment. I think the biggest challenge people are facing is to overcome fear. Fear is the biggest weakness.
"I think we should all be practical, stay home and stay safe. Don’t be afraid that you are going to get this. Keep up with the precautions. I think coronavirus is teaching us how to think for other people rather than thinking about yourself. It is a great time to think about this world. We need to come together as a human race right now. It is not about individuality so much as it is looking out for each other and taking care of each other. The quarantine is not only for yourself. It is so that you do not infect somebody else" Ashish added.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ashish will be next seen in Marathi film, 'Lagna Kallol' directed by Mohammed Burmawala. He will be playing a major role in the film alongside Mayuri Deshmukh, Bhushan Pradhan, Siddharth Jadhav. The film is slated to release soon.
