Mahesh Thakur to debut in Marathi

Film and television actor, Mahesh Thakur, best remembered for his role in the comedy serial 'Tu Tu Main Main' will be debuting in a Marathi film titled 'Aaji' meaning grandmother.
While it is unclear at the moment what role Mahesh is essaying in the film, the story is written by actor Chinmay Mandlekar and it is being directed by debutant Durgesh Sukhtankar. Actor Rekha Kamat essays the pivotal role of a grandmother and other actors apart from Mahesh who play prominent parts include Rajan Bhise, Uday Tikekar, Aniket Vishwasrao and Tanvi Malpekar.
The script of 'Aaji' was originally made into a short film and had earned accolades. It has now been modified for the big canvas.
'Hum Saath Saath Hain', 'Aashiqui 2', 'Jai Ho' and 'F.A.L.T.U' are some of Mahesh's films.
