Marathi cinema has powerful content: Aditi Govitrikar

Dr Aditi Govitrikar who was last seen in the Marathi film- Smile Please, directed by Vikram Phadnis says that Marathi cinema has powerful content. Talking about her journey in the Marathi films, Dr Govitrikar says, "I think Marathi cinema has always had powerful content! Yes, there was a time when ‘comedy’ had taken over but after that superb content has been
continued! It has been a journey of ups and downs but still all genres are working, maybe except horror in my understanding.A different slice of life stories too are working for the audiences."
She also reveals her favourite films, "Vikram Phadnis Hrudayantar is one of my all-time favourite films but the list also includes Deool, Anandi Gopal and many others."
