I was scared to direct Ravindra Mankani

Actress-filmmaker Mrinal Kulkarni was intimidated to direct Ravindra Mankani in ���Rama Madhav��� with whom she started her acting career through the television serial ���Swami���.
In the serial ���Swami��� Ravindra Mankani played the role of Madhavrao Peshwe and Mrinal played the role of Ramabai. In Rama Madhav the duo will be seen essaying the roles of Nanasaheb Peshwe and Gopikabai respectively.While speaking about working with him again, she said, ���It was nostalgic working with him. But I must say I was very scared to direct. He is an actor of a very different calibre but he was extremely sweet and supportive. He would often remember me as Rama of ���Swami���. I was in school then. He feels very proud to see me today. I have matured a lot as a person since then.���
