Never interested in cricket: Chirag

Despite belonging to a sports background, the son of Indian cricket team���s chief selector Sandip Patil, Chirag Patil chose a career in acting and will now be making his Marathi TV debut with the show ���Yek Number��� later this month.
Speaking to us, he said, "I was never interested in cricket and was always inclined towards the entertainment industry, even as a little kid," and added, "Thankfully, my parents have been extremely supportive of all my endeavours and have encouraged me to pursue my dreams; even if my aspirations are not related to cricket."
Chirag had debuted in Marathi films around four years ago and is gearing up for his first appearance on Marathi TV with 'Yek Number,' which is said to involve highly modern production equipment. The actor has also put on 6 kg for his role in the show and is still keen on maintaining his built, even while shooting.
