Ringing in the season of accolades, the Planet Marathi presents Filmfare Awards (Marathi) honoured the best talents of the Indian Marathi Cinema in Mumbai on Thursday, March 31.
On Thursday evening the Marathi celebrities gathered under one roof for the award ceremony at St. Andrews that was hosted by
Amey Wagh and
Siddharth Jadhav.
The show was filled with exciting performances and emotional moments as the prestigious Black Lady found its rightful winners.
Marathi star
Ankush Chaudhari bagged the best actor award for his stellar performance in
Sameer Vidwans's 'Dhurala'. While the best actress awards were bagged by
Sai Tamhankar and Nehha Pendse.
Apart from this, Sameer Vidwans's 'Dhurala' was also the biggest winner of the night bagging a total of 7 awards and
Chaitanya Tamhane's 'The Disciple' bagged a total of 6 awards from Best Critics to Best Cinematography.
