'Pravas': Ashok Saraf to play a unique role in Shashank Udapurkar's film

Actor-director Shashank Udapurkar, who is known for his Bollywood film 'Anna', is all set to direct his first Marathi film 'Pravas'. Actor Shashank penned the story of the film and the filmmaker's star cast has already created a buzz on social media. For the first time, veteran actor, Ashok Saraf will be seen sharing screen space with Padmini Kolhapure in this Marathi film.
While speaking about his role, Ashok said, "Shashank Udapurkar came to me with the 'Pravas' script and it's a unique story.I am not allowed to disclose anything related to the plot of the film, but, I can say, that I am playing a lead role in the film and its unique."
The movie is reportedly about the journey of individuals. The movie recently had ‘muhurat’ shoot, where both Ashok Saraf and Padmani Kolhapure among other artists were present.
The Shashank directorial is produced under the banner of Om Chhangani Films and features Vikram Gokhale, Rajat Kapoor, Shashank Udapurkar and others. The makers have not yet announced the film's release date.
