'Prawaas' trailer: Ashok Saraf and Padmini Kolhapure's unusual journey looks promising

Actor-director Shashank Udapurkar, who is known for his Bollywood film 'Anna', is all set to direct his first Marathi film 'Prawaas'. Actor Shashank penned the story of the film and recently released a teaser from the film has already generated a lot of buzz on social media. And now, the makers have dropped the official trailer from the film.
The one-minute-fifty second's clip begins with background voice of veteran actress, Padmini Kolhapure narrating the journey of Ashok Saraf as Abhijat Inamdar, a simple and ordinary man and his struggle.The life of an older married couple, Ashok Saraf and Padmini Kolhapure falls apart when Ashok Saraf as Abhijat comes to know about his kidney failure.
The real crux of the film begins with Abhijat Inamdar's determination for being hopeful and living the life in fullest. The two are seen having a memorable time in the snow-peaked mountains without a care in the world. Actor Shashank, who plays an important role in the film as a son, which is very much highlighted in the film trailer. The trailer also sees Bollywood and Marathi cinema's popular actor, Shreyas Talpade's entrance which is enough in it to make you eager to watch the film.
The Shashank directorial is produced under the banner of Om Chhangani Films and features Vikram Gokhale, Rajat Kapoor, Shashank Udapurkar and others. The film is slated to release on January 31st, 2020.
