Popular Marathi actresses Sai Tamhankar, Amruta Khanvilkar and Mithila Palkar were featured in a video titled —Mujhe Haq Hai— released by the United Nations Asia and the Pacific. The video has been released to inspire women and girls across India and world at large. Also, the purpose of the initiative is to spread the message across that women have the right to live a life on their own terms, and the right to make their own choices.And actresses like Sai, Amruta and Mithila are championing the cause like a boss.
The video also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and sportspersons including Sania Mirza and Mithali Raj. Mujhe Haq Hai brings women from all fields, from all parts of India, achievers and celebrities together in unison to send out a strong message- from women leaders at the grassroots level to service authorities, sportspersons, entertainers, businesswomen, and musicians. A hashtag with the same name as the video is trending online as well.
