' is by far one of the popular Marathi films till date and today film completed four years on August 14. The film featured actors like Ankush Choudhary, Mukta Barve, Vidyadhar Joshi, Vandana Gupte, Sandeep Pathak, and Pushkar Shrotri in pivotal roles.

To commemorate this special day, the filmmaker, Sameer Vidwans who has garnered a lot of accolades for exploring the struggle of a middle-class couple in the film. Taking to his Instagram handle, Sameer took a trip down memory lane and shared the throwback poster of his film. He captioned the post as "DoubleSeat प्रदर्शित होऊन आज ४ वर्ष झाली.. ह्या चित्रपटाने मला खूप काही शिकवलंही आणि भरभरून दिलंही..हा चित्रपट माझ्यासाठी खूप काही आहे. आणि कायम राहील."



'Double Seat', a Sameer Vidwans directorial movie, is the one with a simple plot and surprisingly not many filmmakers have tried exploring this. It deals with the struggle of a middle-class couple trying to find a home in the city of Mumbai. The immediate-post-marriage romance between the lead couple Amit and Manjiri, played by Ankush Choudhary and Mukta Barve is presented in a nice format. This simple, yet light, entertainer made it a success at the box-office.
