'Yere Yere Pavsa': Shafaq Khan's directorial debut bags six international awards

After making an impressive debut in Pollywood cinema with 'Desi Rome, Shafaq Khan is all set to make her debut as a director with upcoming Marathi film, 'Yere Yere Pavsa'.
Recently released first look poster from the film has already created a buzz in social media. In a recent development, Shafaq Khan's 'Yere Yere Pavsa' has won six international awards.
The film 'Yere Yere Pavsa' got thirteen nominations in different categories and won six awards at the international film festival awards show which was held virtually this year due to the outbreak of Coronavirus Pandemic.
In an exclusive chat with Etimes, director Shafaq Khan said "It's good in this time I think. I am sure that the audience will definitely love our work. Due to Pandemic, the award show was held virtually in Canada this year. I am happy that we got six awards which include Best feature film award, Director International Feature, Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor, Best Editing and Best Sound Design"

While commenting on her Marathi debut, Shafaq said " While there are two reasons, one is that I always wanted to do something for the people of Maharashtra and second is the content of the film is such that I thought it would perfectly resonate with Marathi audience"
'Yere Yere Pavsa' is produced under the banner S Cube Films India LLP and also produced by Butterfly Film. The film was scheduled to release in April but owing to Coronavirus lockdown, the makers had postponed the release of the film.
