Director Pankaj Batra is all set to become a producer

Pollywood director Pankaj Batra is now exploring new horizons. After directing some of the best content based movies, he is now on his way to produce his very first film. The title of the same is under wraps but not the details regarding the cast. Reportedly, Ranjit Bawa, Jassie Gill, and Ninja have been roped in for Pankaj’s maiden production.
The movie is said to revolve around youth.According to reports, the story is about three close friends making their way abroad. It showcases their bond and the struggle of living in a foreign land. Further, the shooting is said to take place in New Zealand and Punjab and the slots have been divided into the slots of 30-35 days in the former location and 20 days in the latter.
Pankaj Batra’s last directorial work was Diljit Dosanjh starrer ‘Sajjan Singh Rangroot’. The movie was based on the Sikh battalion that went on the front lines during World War 1. Recently, there were speculations that Pankaj will be directing ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’, but according to the latest reports now Simerjit Singh will be wearing the director’s hat for the film.
