This year too I wanted to be with my family but couldn't travel due to work commitments. So, I am looking forward to celebrating the festival here in Mumbai with friends."
Talking about fasting during the holy month of Ramadan, Sajjad who had also acted in Woh Apna Sa, says, "I fast every year and keep roza. This year as I was alone here in Mumbai, I enjoyed my iftari by myself, and at times I did invite my friends to join me. The best thing about iftari is that people organise a lot of Eid event and welcome everyone with an open heart and serve them hearty food post fasting. It is one thing I love the most about the festival. It makes us social and kind towards all."
Commenting upon the significance of the festival in his life Sajjad says, "Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy period of Ramadan when we thank Allah for the holy Quran. The festival signals marks the completion of a month-long fast from dawn to dusk. And a time to look forward to celebrating the joyous festival of Eid. It's the time to get busy with shopping, decorating the house, and buying gifts for loved ones. Eid is one of the most important festivals of my life."
