And here’s a brief on the top Punjabi stars whose Bollywood cameos went unnoticed.

Neeru Bajwa was lauded for her work in ‘Main Solah Baras Ki’, but thereafter her performance in ‘Prince’ couldn’t win hearts. Post that the actress was more focused on Punjabi movies specifically. However, there was a Bollywood movie after ‘Prince’, in which Neeru Bajwa made a special appearance. She made a cameo in Neeraj Pandey directorial 'Special 26'. She was seen shaking a leg with Akshay Kumar in a peppy number ‘Gore Mukhade Pe’ in the movie.

Gippy Grewal is a renowned name in the film industry. Besides his acting, he is lauded for his production and direction as well. However, his charm didn’t work in Bollywood. His debut Bollywood movie ‘Second Hand Husband’ couldn’t entertain the audience and even his second Hindi project ‘Lucknow Central’ too didn’t do well. However, apart from these two, there was another Bollywood movie in which Gippy Grewal was seen featuring. He essayed the role of a pop star, Manjeet Manchala in the movie 'Dharam Sankat Mein'. He had a single scene in the movie.

Even before Diljit Dosanjh rose to fame with his Bollywood debut ‘Udta Punjab’, he was seen making a cameo in another Hindi movie. He made a special appearance in the movie ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’. He was seen in the song ‘Pee Paa Pee Paa’, alongside the main lead Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'souza. It was a peppy number sung by Diljit only; however, back then he wasn’t popular in B’town.

The ‘Saadi Love Story’ fame star Neetu Singh was also seen doing a cameo in a very popular Bollywood movie. It is the same movie in which Neeru Bajwa performed on a dance number with Akshay Kumar - ‘Special 26’. She was seen playing Manoj Bajpai’s wife in the movie, and featured in two scenes.
