PR: Here’s why Mandy Takhar stepped down from the Harbhajan Mann movie

The Harbhajan Mann starrer ‘PR’ has been hogging limelight right from the time it was announced. Talking about the time of its announcement, the makers earlier unveiled that the movie will be having Mandy Takhar opposite Harbhajan Mann. However, as per the latest development, it will be debutante Delbar Arya who will be essaying the female lead. Reportedly, the ‘Rabb Da Radio’ fame actress Mandy Takhar said that she couldn’t compromise on her finances and thus, stepped down from the movie.
According to the reports, Many Takhar said that when the movie was announced, the press conference was held before discussing the finances, and when the matter was finally brought to the table, things didn’t work out. She added that though the script was really good to be a part of, she couldn’t compromise the finances part.
The buzz also has it that the actress said if once she will work for less, the other filmmakers will also try negotiating on the same scale. There’s already a pay grade gap between male and female stars and she would not like to encourage it any further. She concluded with the word that this experience has made her learn that one must talk about finances before making the movie announcement.
