On World Emoji Day celebrated on July 17, Punjabi actress Deep Sehgal whose latest film was the hit Je Jatt Vigarh Gya with Jay Randhawa, calls herself an emoji girl. An articulate and fun loving person, Deep says that she is very fond of using emojis to enhance her conversations with others.
"Every person is using emojis in their conversations these days," says Deep, adding, "Personally too, instead of writing words like the conventional hi, hello, I prefer using emojis instead because they make the conversation fun and interesting. And these also give the impression to the other person that the conversation is going well, which means that it is a positive sign."

Adding that, "any digital conversation in this modern era is incomplete without emojis," Deep goes on to say that in a world where everyone is rushed for time, these emojis get the job done in a minute. "Without the need to either write long sentences emojis also works well for those people who are not very good conversationalists. Whereas, not responding to a person's message is rude, for those who don't like long writing long messages, emojis are their best friend and can deliver the message in a jiffy," says the actress who has also worked in films like Sher Bagga, Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua among others.
