Aadukalam applauded at Oslo

Here’s the latest on the Vetri Maaran directed Aadukalam, starring Dhanush and Taapsee in the lead.
The film, which was screened recently at the Norway Tamil Film Festival, has come in for much praise. In fact, the audience loved the film so much that they asked for a repeat screening of the film!
An excited Vetri tweeted, “Norway Tamil Film Festival started with the screening of Aadukalam.(It) was received well by the audience of Oslo! The film was screened second time at the festival as a request from audiences, who had missed the first show.”
Vetri Maaran made a special ‘Festival Cut’ of his film, which completed 100 days at the BO recently, to send it to different film festivals across the world. He had earlier told CT, “I’ve removed most of the melodramatic scenes and songs from the theatrical version and added a few sober scenes that weren’t part of the original. I’ve trimmed down the running time to close to two hours as well.”
