After Ravana, it’s Ram says Priya Mani

Priya Mani is making her Sandalwood debut with the film 'Ram'.
Priya Mani, who���s currently working on Mani Ratnam���s Ravana, will soon be seen sharing screen space with Puneet Rajkumar in her first Kannada film Ram, produced by Aditya Babu and directed by Madesh. This busy actress, who took her time choosing her launch in the Kannada film industry, says she made the right choice: ���I felt that Ram would be a good Sandalwood launch for me.Moreover, I���m acting opposite Power Star Puneet Rajkumar.��� However, the National Award-winning actress admits she hasn���t seen a complete Puneet film. ���I���ve seen bits of his films on TV and the songs. He���s a fabulous dancer,��� she says.
Priya, who���s returned to Bangalore from Chennai, will start shooting for Ram today. She���s finished her talkie portion for the Telugu film, Mitrudu, opposite Balakrishna. ���I���ve one song pending for Mitrudu, and I have 10 more days��� shooting for Ravana. Apart from this, I���ve two Tamil films that will be released next month. After Ravana, it will be Ram for me,��� she says.
