Bollywood beauties to spice up UTVs Mollywood debut?

When a Bollywood production giant such as UTV steps foot in to Mollywood, it doesn't just bring along the grandeur but also delivers the glamour of B'town.UTV, which produced Rang De Basanti, Don and Delhi Belly, will kick off its Mollywood innings with scriptwriter-director B Unnikrishnan's Mohanlal-starrer in December"The movie will have four heroines playing important characters," says Unnikrishnan, adding that top Bollywood and Kollywood actresses are being considered for the roles. The director, who had earlier teamed up with the megastar for Madambi, remarks that it is a "different" film. "It is a multi-layered family entertainer giving importance to suspense and drama," he explains.UTV Motion Pictures, which just released its first Tamil movie Muran worldwide, will also try and firm its foot in Mollywood with Saji Surendran's Husbands in Goa in February 2012.Contrary to rumours, this movie will not be a sequel to Saji-Krishna Poojappura duo's highly successful Happy Husbands but it will feature most of the previous cast.Indrajith, Jayasuriya, Asif Ali, Biju Menon, Bhavana, Bhama, Samvrutha Sunil and Rima Kallingal star in the "fun, musical entertainer."The plot revolves around three naive husbands who are on a 5-day trip to Goa to take a break from their tiring married lives. "In Goa, they meet Biju Menon's character, a man on the verge of divorce. Things get interesting when their wives join them leading to a series of funny events," says scribe Krishna Poojappura.Sounds like the second half of a Priyadarshan laugh riot!
