MS Baskar injured in mishap

Well known comedian M S Baskar had a lucky escape recently after the car he was travelling in met with an accident at Mullai Gate, a place located 20 km from Pollachi.
Sources close to the actor say that Baskar, after shooting for director Vijay’s next film, which stars Vikram and Amala Paul, in Ooty, was on his way to Pollachi to shoot for Velayudham, starring Vijay, Hansika and Genelia, when a vehicle, heading in the opposite direction, collided with his car.Luckily, all the occupants of the car including M S Baskar escaped with minor injuries. Sources add that locals rescued the trio and that police restored order. The three then left by another car sent for them by director Jayam Raja’s unit.
Sources also claim that even the superstar had called up Baskar to enquire about the mishap.
