She is hardly two films old, but Indu Thampi, the new entrant in Mollywood, is a name to watch out for. Soon after winning the Miss Kerala title in 2010 she bagged plum roles in two films and many other offers are coming her way."I am currently shooting for Father's Day in Kannur and I'm enjoying every bit," says Indu taking a break from her busy schedule. The movie also features actor-directors Lal and Revathy, and Indu considers this opportunity to work with them as a double bonus."I have many sequences with Revathy and I'm very comfortable with her.
She is a great inspiration and being a director she knows how to bring out the best in you. It is easy to work with her," says Indu.
While she does not share much screen space with Lal, Indu says he has been a great help. "He is a talented director and actor who gives valuables tips on filmmaking, the play of lights, how to face the camera and so on."Indu is living her dream, no doubt, and says films are where she belongs. "Nothing pleases me more than acting. It is, in fact, soothing. Almost like writing poetry," she says. The shooting for Father's Day is likely to go on for a few more weeks. After this, the actress will prepare to begin shoot for her next film, Oru Cinema Katha Pole, in which she is paired opposite actor Indrajith."There are a few more films coming up, but I cannot talk about them till we have finalised on them. All I can say is that I have found my passion and I'm here to stay," concludes Indu.
