'Pokkiri was the turning point'

Whenever Vincent Asokan reminisces about the time he worked with Vijay and Ajith simultaneously, he gets all excited.
“Pokkiri was the turning point in my career and I owe it all to Prabhu Deva and Vijay. The film came at a time when I needed a hit badly. Prabhu said I could pull off the role with ease. And Vijay was at his helpful and jolly best. Even if he got his shot okayed in the first take, he would willingly go for another if his co-actors felt the need.We used to discuss cinema on the sets,” he says.
“I also had the opportunity to work with Ajith at the same time in Alwar. Though he doesn’t talk much on sets, he makes sure his co-stars feel comfortable. He is chivalrous and a wonderful artiste,” says Vincent.
