They have been trying to create a rift between us. But let me tell you we continue to be good friends - just like how we were before we became popular. We are still brothers. In fact, when Sasi got to know about this latest rumour, he actually asked me to give him the picture in which he is seen feeding me a piece of cake. It was taken during the birthday party. He wanted to publish it but I stopped him from doing so.”
Samudrakani, who is directing Porali, in which Sasi plays the lead, says, “It is a film about all those who struggle. And no, it is not about the Lankan civil war.” Apart from Porali, Samudrakani will also play the lead role in Saatai. Ask him about his role in the film and he says, “I play a teacher in a government school in the film. The film’s story was so appealing that I immediately agreed to do it.”
