Traffic’ of Rajesh Pillai, written by Bobby and Sanjay has been well-acclaimed by fans of Mollywood. It has been confirmed for a remake in Bollywood. Its remake rights were opted by many producers in different languages from its second week of release. Now, it is understood that, Rajesh Pillai will himself direct the venture under the banner of Endemol India. Endemol India is preparing to make a memorable debut in the production of feature films after concentrating on reality shows in television.
Managing Director Endemol India, Deepak Dhar remarks that he is anxious to commence the production work in Hindi. The star cast will include Sunny Deol in the role or Rahman, Jimmy Shergill in the role of Kunjacko , Nana Patekar or Manoj Bajpai in the role of Srinivasan, and Radhika Apte will act in a pivotal characterization. Imad Shah, son Naseeruddin Shah will play the role of Vineet Srinivasan. Five songs have been already composed for the film. Mithoon Sharma will wield the baton for the movie. A leading hero of Mollywood will appear in a cameo and another bollywood superstar will be been seen as Commissioner, the role portrayed by Anoop Menon in the original Malayalam version. The film will start its shoots in the month of August and is to be completed in five schedules which is expected to be released in Jan 2012.
