Vikram: Straight from the heart!

Vikram is a do-gooder and is well known for his philanthropic activities and donating huge amounts to the poor and needy.
His fans association helps parents of poor children who are born with heart diseases. The actor — who was away from Chennai for the last two months shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Raavan near Mumbai and later for Selvaraghavan’s untitled film in Leh — could not make it for a function hosted by Tollywood personalities for the AP flood relief.So, a day after he returned to Chennai, he went to Hyderabad wanting to donate an amount to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
We hear that the big-hearted Vikram donated Rs 15 lakhs, the highest amount donated by a Kollywood star for the victims of flood in Andhra Pradesh. Well, that’s quite a gesture from namma Chiyaan. Way to go!
