Vicky Kaushal's film selection indicates how experimental he is

Vicky’s next period-war drama based on Ashwathama, the son of Dronacharya, a character from the Mahabharata will go on floors by the end of 2019 and is expected to release in 2020.
After working with director Aditya Dhar in Uri – The Surgical Strike, they have come back together for Ashwathama.
Aditya has been working on this script since the last 7 years, expected to be shot in almost all the parts of India.
Apart from Ashwathama, Vicky will be starring in Karan Johar’s Takht, Shootjit Sircar’s Sardar Udham Singh, Bhoot: Part One: The Haunted Ship with Bhumi Pednekar and Ticket to Bollywood opposite his ‘Masaan’ co-star, Shweta Tripathi.
