Parundhaaguthu Oor Kuruvi Movie Review: Some films have great content that keeps the audience engaged. However, the execution and composition ultimately determine their success or failure. Unfortunately, Parunthagudhu Oorkuruvi, while boasting an interesting premise, falls short with mediocre filmmaking that makes it below average.

Aadhi (Nishanth), a petty criminal, finds himself in a conflict after helping a constable locate a murder scene. Unknowingly, he ends up getting handcuffed to the still-breathing victim, Maaran (Vivek Prasanna) and discovers that the latter's life is worth a lot of money. But the situation is complicated by the involvement of some powerful individuals, and now Aadhi and Maaran are on the run. Do they make it out alive?

Director Dhanabalan Govindaraj starts the film with an intriguing premise and interesting characters, but fails to deliver on the intensity that the story promises. The cinematography is decent, and the location adds to the film's appeal. However, the background score is misplaced and jarring at times.

Although the love sequences of Vivek Prasanna and Gayathri Iyer's characters are decent, and the latter's portrayal of Maaran's wife and a celebrity actress is commendable, the film ultimately fails to live up to expectations. The characterisations and dialogue delivery of the protagonist fall short of potential, and many scenes are poorly staged.

The movie tries to be different, but ultimately falls short due to its mediocre filmmaking and inappropriate characters.
