'Leo' box office collection day 21: Vijay starrer finally reaches Rs 600 crore

Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's reunion 'Leo' with a huge star cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Trisha, Gautham Menon, and Mysskin was released in theaters on October 19. The action drama that was confirmed to be part of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Cinematic Universe did extremely well during its early days, and it earned over Rs 470 crore in its first week. However, the film slowed down in the following weeks, and the action drama completed the third week of its theatrical run.Here is the latest update on the film's box office collection of 'Leo', and the film has grossed over Rs 600 crore worldwide as of the end of day 21.
'Leo' has grossed approximately Rs 80 crore and Rs 50 crore, respectively, in the second and third weeks, and the film has become the first film by Vijay to reach the massive feat. But 'Leo' needs another Rs 25 crore to surpass Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' to emerge as the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023. 'Leo' now stands as the third highest-grossing Tamil film of all time after '2.0' and 'Jailer', and the well-hyped film has climbed to greater heights at the box office as expected.


In Tamil Nadu, 'Leo' has grossed over Rs 205 crore, and the film will emerge as the highest-grossing film in the state if it manages to hold its screens in the upcoming days despite the new Diwali releases. Meanwhile, 'Leo' is gearing up for an OTT release, and the film will be streaming in multiple languages on a popular platform starting November 21.
