Budding director AV Arun Prasath met with an accident near Mettupalayam in Coimbatore. Arun Prasath, a native of Annur was driving a bike and crashed into a lorry and lost his life. Arun Prasath was a former associate of director Shankar who has worked in films like I. Arun was supposed to make his debut as a filmmaker with 4G, an upcoming romantic fantasy drama, starring G.V.Prakash Kumar in the lead role.

He was credited as Venkat Pakkar in the film.
4G which was announced in 2016 was delayed due to many reasons. The film was bankrolled by CV Kumar and is waiting for the right time to release the film. Unfortunately, the debutant director lost his life before his film was about to hit the screen. The cinematography for the film is handled By Velraj while Gayathri Suresh and Sathish are playing important roles.
