Abi Saravanan mourns the passing away of actress-singer Paravai Muniyamma; shares video from the funeral

Paravai Muniyamma, an actress-singer who his known for her folk songs, passed away due to an illness at the age of 83 on Sunday. Only a few people attended her funeral owing to the section 144 being in force where not more than 20 people are allowed to gather for a funeral. When Paravai Muniyamma’s health had been deteriorating, actor Abi Saravanan helped her a lot and had been a good support to the artist.And so when Paravai Muniyamma passed away, Abi was left saddened. He shared a video from the funeral on his Facebook account where only a few people could be seen owing to the lockdown.
Abi Saravanan was shocked when he received a call from Paravai Muniyamma's house at 2 am on Sunday, informing him that she had been experiencing difficulty in breathing. Minutes later, he received another call saying that she was no more. Abi couldn’t even get some flowers for Muniyamma as all the shops are shut due to the lockdown and has been feeling very sad about the way they had to bid the artist goodbye.
However, Abi Saravanan did make sure to stay back at Paravai Muniyamma's house until all the rituals at her funeral were over. He eventually left her house with all the memories and wishes she had made for him. Paravai Muniyamma considered Abi Saravanan as her grandson, and she too meant a lot for Abi Saravanan who had been a great support to her.
