Ajith, Lingusamy join hands again?

The buzz in the industry is that director Lingusamy is all set to work with Ajith again. The film, a quickie, is touted to go on floors as soon as Ajith finishes work on his film with Vishnuvardhan.
However, Lingusamy has brushed these reports as 'just rumours'. He reportedly said, "If I have to do a film with Ajith, I need to work on a script that will suit his image and his status in the industry."
Interestingly, Ajith and Lingusamy have worked together on Ji, which hit screens in 2005.The film, which had Ajith playing a happy-go-lucky college student, had a decent run at the BO. While Trisha was paired opposite Ajith in the film, music had been composed by Vidyasagar. This was Lingusamy's third film, after Aanandham with Mammootty and Run with Madhavan.
Currently, the director is busy with scripting for his Suriya-starrer. However, the heroine is yet to be finalized. And Ajith is shooting for a film with Vishnuvardhan, in which he is paired opposite Nayanthara. The film also has Taapsee and Arya in important roles. He also has a film with Siruthai Siva next.
Will the two artists join hands again soon? Only time will tell.
