There was a bomb threat at actor
Ajith's residence in Injambakkam in the city yesterday. While the bomb scare was declared fake made by anonymous miscreant, the police have apparently traced the call and found out the man, who made the threat call. This is the second such fake bomb threat in less than a month's time after actor Vjiay's residence in Saligramam received a similar threat earlier this month.
The man named
Bhuvanesh, who hailed from Marakkanam, Villupuram district has been arrested today for the hoax call. Interestingly, he is same mentally unstable person who was earlier arrested for a similar threat call about Vijay's house and later let off with a warning.
The police officials along with the bomb squad rushed to Ajith's home on Saturday to conduct a thorough search after the miscreant made the bomb threat at Ajith's residence in Injambakkam yesterday. Reports are that the mentally unstable Bhuvanesh has now been handed over to the Neelangarai police for further inquiry after is repeat offence.
The man had made such calls in the past to former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa, Puducherry chief minister V Narayanaswamy and Puducherry Governor Kiran Bedi.
A similar incident happened last month when superstar Rajinikanth's house also got a bomb threat by an unidentified person.
