Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal trimmed again

Thala Ajith's 55th film 'Yennai Arindhaal' directed by Gautham Menon hit the screens a few days ago and has been receiving amazing response. Though the response from the fans have been good, a section of the audience also feel that the first half was slightly dragging. Taking this into notice, the maker have now shortened the first half by 6 minutes.
It is to be noted that the film initially had a running time of close to 3 hours, which was trimmed to 2 hours 49 minutes even before the release after it went to the censor board. Yennai Arindhaal stars Ajith Kumar as an ex-cop who is urged by situations to start back his journey on the mission to save a girl. The film is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and is produced by AM Rathnam with Trisha and Anushka Shetty playing the female lead roles.
