Amala Paul's father Varghese passes away in Kochi

Amala Paul has been busy with the promotions of her next release 'Adho Andha Paravai Pola'. However in an unfortunate event, the actress lost her father Varghese Paul yesterday. According to a report on a news portal, 61 year old Varghese Paul was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kochi but passed away on Tuesday evening. Amala Paul was in Chennai for the promotions of ‘Adho Andha Paravai Pola’ and immediately left for Kochi as soon as she heard about the unfortunate incident.
The funeral of Varghese Paul will take place today at 3 pm at St Peter's Catholic Church, Kuruppampady, Kerala.Several celebrities have expressed their condolences as Amala Paul's father passed.
Amala Paul made her acting debut with the Malayalam film 'Neelathamara'. The young and talented actress has romanced several top heroes of Tamil cinema which includes Vijay, Surya, Dhanush, Jayam Ravi, and Arya. She is currently working on stories that have significance to parts for the actress. Amala was last seen on the big screen in 'Aadai' and her performance was well appreciated. Recently, the trailer of her upcoming film 'Adho Andha Paravai Pola' was released and it too received a positive response from fans.
