Amyra mourns the loss of pet cat Emma

Actress Amyra Dastur took to her social media to mourn the loss of her pet cat, Emma. Emma was 19 when she passed away. In a moving tribute, Amyra said she wasn't a cat person, but things changed when Emma came to home.
In a long post, she said, "I was never a cat person. I remember my mom got Emma 19 years ago and I was so annoyed with mom because I wanted another dog.I always thought cats weren’t as loving or playful as dogs. I was so wrong.
Emma became my favourite animal. She was playful and loving and weird! She made me laugh so much and love so hard. I’m heartbroken that you won’t be with me but I’m so honoured to have gained your love. Here’s to growing up together baby girl. May you get lots of chairs and sofas to ruin in cat heaven and an unlimited amount of cat nib. Goodbye my jaan, I love you 3000. (sic)" Amyra also posted a series of pictures of Emma and with Emma.
